I-CAR has added Advanced Joining Technologies (AJT01) to its Online Training library. There are a variety of joining methods used to attach the new materials being used in vehicle construction. These include rivets, adhesives, rivet and weld bonding, and a variety of new welding methods. For proper repair, it’s important to be able to identify a specific attachment method and know which method should be used to replace it.
