Description

Assists students to plan a course of study toward their career goals. May review student interests, perform assessments, and help students explore different careers. May review student’s academic history and suggest further courses of study to complete high school graduation, a certificate program, or a degree program.


Personal Characteristics and Skills

Must have good reading, computer, and communication skills. Must enjoy working with students in a consulting and counseling environment. Must be patient and able to comply with rules and regulations from the school, state, and federal government.

Pre-Employment Education and Experience
