Description
Responsible for increasing sales and business opportunities. Actively solicits auto glass repair and replacement business and referrals from new and existing sources. Develops and executes marketing plans including advertising, customer follow up, and association events.

Must enjoy working with people, numbers, and computers. Must be outgoing and have good communication skills to work in a sales environment. Must be creative and work well with people, both customers and employees. Must be a self-starter to find new business opportunities.

Pre-Employment Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent is required with advanced education recommended. Prior sales experience is preferred and a glass business background is a plus.
Earnings
Depending on location and size of business, earnings may start between $40,000 and $50,000 and increase with success in sales. Benefits may include insurance, pension plans, and holidays.
Career Path
This position can come from outside sales experience, but may be better served after some experience in either the automotive repair or glass businesses. This position can lead to additional sales responsibilities, higher management levels, or business ownership.
Continuing Education
Sales training is available through local seminars or schools. Technical training for glass replacement is available through I-CAR, glass manufacturers, and supply companies.
