Description

Assists with various office duties, including customer service, cashier, receptionist, phone calls, filing, accounting, and billing. Multiple duties may have a job title of office administrator.

 

Personal Characteristics and Skills

Must enjoy working with people, numbers, and computers. Requires working in an office environment, close attention to detail, and patience. Must be a team player and work well with people.

 

Job Outlook

Businesses need a good, reliable interface with customers both by phone and in-person. As part of a customer’s experience, the towing service must be efficient throughout the process. Every towing service business needs someone focused on customer interaction as part of insuring satisfaction and repeat business.

 

Pre-Employment Education and Experience

Reading, math, computer, and accounting skills are essential. A high school education is preferred with post-secondary education a plus. Experience in customer service is also important.
