Description
Represents local supplier store (jobber) to collision repair businesses in order to supply them with needed equipment, tools, and materials including paint products. Responsible for maintaining current customers, developing new customers, and achieving sales targets. Travels to customer shops, builds relationships, and helps solve problems. Works with jobber, shop, and factory personnel to make sure products are building customer satisfaction.

Must enjoy working with people, working with different shops, and selling. Must be self-motivated and have good communication skills. Must possess an analytical approach to problem solving. Must be able to develop and maintain ethical business relationships.

Pre-Employment Education and Experience
A high school education is required with a four-year college degree recommended. Business management or sales education is encouraged. Should have three to five years of experience in collision repair or distributor sales. Bilingual skills are a plus.
Earnings
Depending on sales territory and pay plan, earnings may start between $30,000 and $40,000. Experienced sales representatives with proven results may earn much more. Benefits may include insurance, pension plans, and a company vehicle or mileage reimbursement.
