Paint manufacturers produce the paint materials, including thinners, primers, sealers, and colors. Equipment manufacturers make the special equipment needed to repair collision damaged vehicles, including welders, frame benches, and paint booths. Body, paint, and equipment jobbers (or stores) sell directly to repair shops.
